I feel sad.

So what? I reserve short writing or comments for my imagination. Gosh, this site has some serious rules, but whatever. Want me to write long and boring? Fine, how about Shakespeare? He's a good historic male to write about, at least he did something! Rather than that b person. Grow up, this site itself is suspicious.

I'm going to say that every sonnet or poem he wrote is beautiful, and profound. I'm going to wipe away any negative emotions. Don't need you to affect me!

And plus, you can go ahead and do something but stop being so childish!

I don't own anything; if I did, there's no assurance that it would be... children content. Sorry for my dirty mind-(but don't we all have them-even if you're a woman?)-and sanity proves to still be over-rated, right now. I'll keep it on the down-low, my insanity. ;) I know it sucks, right? Well, yeesh; we're not born perfect, that'd be boring, don't ya think? :D And don't be surprised at the hentai thoughts from Himeko... or from Chikane. ;)

Enjoy.

-corners dark-
part one : with you I want

Such innocence... Don't say that, Himeko. Chikane mentally pleaded, the soft body in her arms heaved with sobs while blubbering out incoherent words. It was practically proposing to her in Morse code to ravish her after comforting her, but she didn't want to build that hope up. Not more than it should, it was meant to be buried for a reason, under all the thoughts and shame, her regret; Himeko didn't ask for her love nor her affection, just friendship.

And friends we'll always be... Chikane sighed sadly, fingers daintily playing with the silky strands of golden hair, the shampoo her angel used worked wonders, it seemed to change every time. Now it was a passion fruit smell, tinted with lavender, her thoughts played on. She kept one arm secure around Himeko slim waist, but every inch of her left arm felt the curves and the swell of her breasts rub so tantalizingly against her limb, she unwrapped the other so her hand could cup Himeko's chin.

She could feel Himeko's body pressing against hers in such a way it sent shivers up her spine, Chikane tipped her head up a notch, seeing the shut eyes blotted with tears, open slowly. The lush lashes dusted against the light hued cheeks, and it captivated the Himemiya, but she waited patiently until Himeko was focused. It would've been a perfect time for a kiss...

The seconds passed into moments before Himeko was aware of her chin being lightly pinched by agile fingers, and that she was gazing right into fathomless sapphire eyes. The light airy breaths of Chikane, compared to her ragged puffs from crying, the blonde gulped down the stone in her throat, but looked on in curiosity, temporarily mesmerized at how the dark fringes made every feature of "Miya-sama" so much more prominent. The cheek-bones and features, aristocratic in every way, made her nose fit and her eyes blazing in basked warmth; her lips, so much fuller and pink.

Himeko's mouth was dry at the intent stare, her mind silently wondered if Chikane was upset. From her view, Chikane looked perfect, even if she was upset; the subtle changes of expression made Himeko overwhelmed, why was she noticing so closely? Her response was silence. The arm around her waist, hung limply in its nature, the hand on her chin was warm and felt like velvet. So... close to me... I want to kiss her, I need to feel her- Himeko wanted to desperately stay in the embrace, but the phone rang.

It startled both occupants in the hallway, and it made Chikane step back. Her face set in grim shock, eyes showing disbelief and remorse. What was wrong with her? Taking advantage over Himeko like that when she was clearly devastated with Oogami's 'time-out' announcement, of course, Himeko babbled through her sobbing that she was quite chaotic with herself; Himeko thought she was 'ugly' once Oogami hesitantly spoke his thoughts, when all Chikane wanted to do was push her against the wall and make love to her, to say that she was beautiful, inside and out. To kiss away those tears and lick her cheeks, washing away the sadness with a touch. And to make Oogami Souma's life, a hell.

Looking back at Himeko animatedly chat on the phone to whoever (Oogami-kun, you know it, something at the back of mind pointed out the obvious, Chikane knows who it is to make Himeko react in such a happy way but she denies it), the blue-haired princess pushed herself to go to bed, to forget those hope-bringing words from her mind. To forget those amethyst gems staring back at her with such a vulnerability.

Jealousy just had to rear its ugly head to her, for sharp pangs made every step she took more difficult to move her legs for. The muscles in her legs felt like dead weight, heavy and burdening, the exact same as her heart. Chikane frowned, Love is too complicated in its own ways. I can only respect Himeko's relationship with that boy. Referring to Himeko taking Souma as a potential boyfriend, she wasn't surprised, the girl was infatuated with him, as was some girls. But most of them were busy mentally undressing her, then fawning over Oogami for his talents and looks. Oogami Souma had a much more easier life, Chikane envied him, he didn't have power-hungry fools chasing after him for money, for fame, for control; no, he lived in a shrine with his small family. He was a male; a simple fact that didn't escape her notice, he had the rights to ask a female on a date; it was so simple that she almost laughed: he had Himeko.

No, that was Himeko's... choice. I have no say. I'm only a friend, I'm not her girlfriend. Each intake of air made those moments into cherished memories, the shy beauty of a blooming rose; of flower-petal prettiness, her soft hair, those lips... the Himemiya shook her head to blur that image of angelic cuteness and temptation known as Kurusugawa Himeko.

The very first moment they met, Chikane felt that eternal connection, that unseen bond and unbreakable hidden love, she wondered if Himeko did. The girl was so flushed whenever they met at lunch, and it made the Himemiya wonder if she could feel it too. Or the electricity that made her body hum pleasantly so.

Perhaps, she was taking this the wrong way. Walking to her room was exhausting when all her thoughts were focused on Himeko entirely. Her eyes took in the scenery from walking along the dark hallways, the route to her bedroom was fairly close to Himeko's. So far, her private sanctuary was the library, and its secret passages that branched the lands. Chikane sighed, wanting to lie on the bed, she imagined the satin sheets, intertwined with her legs as she slept on her stomach. But her breasts posed a problem, so it would probably be better to just sleep and to not think about sleeping positions. Especially from her dreams.

Finally reaching her room, the Himemiya tiredly opened the door and yawned, pausing shortly before trekking towards the bed at a snail-pace. She slipped off her pajamas because of the summer humidity, her clothes being stripped bare from her curvaceous body and landing on the bed back first before slowly pulling a blanket that covered half her body and exposing it to the night shadows. Good-night... Himeko... Sleeping positions didn't matter much, not unless...

----

She wonders with wide eyes of surprise and shock; her hands twitch with the barest control of what is happening, if it-this moment-is real, or a mishapped dream. But that notion is thrown from her mind. Arms are wrapped around her neck, fingers entwined with her long dark hair, lips upon hers.

A hunger emanates from the more shorter girl-blooming lady that craned her head upwards and claimed her first and only, last kiss. This doesn't last long, the brushing contact of their lips; pulling apart with hesitation and shame, Himeko can only look down, her cheeks flushed and apologize with the barest volume.

With both hearts pounding, a burning log is set on their bodies, setting a higher temperature to make them nervous; choked with a tense silence. And Chikane cannot assure that their friendship will ever be the same, she thinks; this is a bumpy unknown road for them both, they have no choice now not to talk over it, but she doesn't regret that, their kiss... her only kiss. Still, Chikane feel a distant primal urge to comfort Himeko that she doesn't mind, at all, or in any way.

"Himeko." Chikane says, so softly, in a whisper, confirming her own answer. Her lips burn as her fingertips graze the strong chin to tilt up, she is sure her lips tingle in appreciation at meeting Himeko's lips once again; her heart aflutter and dancing a jig that only has erratic beats. No rhythm. The pressure is certain, she wants more.

Her mind is swimming in waves of happiness. Arms embracing the blonde tighter to her, a leg wedged between her-friend?-angels' legs, Chikane increases the passion, her deft tongue slowly poking at Himeko's lips, wanting to taste her, wanting to explore her wet cavern with an eagerness and is granted to enter. She dreamt so much of this happening.

Himeko is shy as ever, sensitive skin that responded to every ghosting touch that Chikane made; moving her and teasing her with lingering nips along the graceful neck, where each time, her tongue soothes the pain and licks. But she moves back to her mouth, claiming it over and over, never tiring of its sweetness, swallowing every breath and gasp that escaped, but leaving the moans that are music to her ears. For a moment, Chikane doesn't move, she is still; ears taking in the ragged breaths coming from the timid beauty beneath her. Himeko...

A mumble comes from the blonde, incoherent, but she knows: "Chikane-chan, please..." It's a plead for more, she doesn't disappoint as her lips quest along her collarbone, soft pecks, and nuzzling her neck; the sharp inhale Himeko takes ascertains Chikane that she is doing good in her... seducing. Then hands slid from her shoulders, down her back, leaving a wake of tingles to erupt.

"Chikane-chan!" It's obvious she found a sensitive spot at the small of her back; an erogenous point to leave Himeko wanting more; it starts affecting her, her skin sensitive, can feel how Himeko grinds against her. The curves that are exposed to her hungry gaze, the sensual writhing and moaning made her gasp. Her lecherous hands drift lower, cupping the firm behind and speeding the rocking of their hips into a teasing manner.

"Himeko is too cute," her voice is low, "to be this wanton."

----

Himeko didn't realize she was intruding on private grounds when she sat beside her beautiful friend, her focus reveled on how glossy her dark-as-day hair shined, it was long; she didn't know how Chikane kept up with it. Her mind suggested much more than watching the Himemiya slumber the night away, her hand was an inch away from Chikane's shoulder, it was bare, no straps or signs of a shirt. Maybe it fell off? It was her turn to swallow the lump of burning coal that stuck itself midway down her dry throat, the barest hints of lavender wafted to her nose.

"You belong to me, Chikane-chan..." Her mind was in a daze, the summer heat affecting her in unusual ways. She leaned closer, lips grazing the heated skin with the barest of trembles, her breathing was irregular and hitched; no matter how much she denied it, it was obvious she had a strong attraction that was mutual by the way her friend released a breathy moan. Her hand attempted to retract itself back, but slender fingers shot under the blanket to get a firm grip around her wrist. Himeko gasped, her heart jumping and twisting in surprise.

It was a sleepy groan, groggy and husky, but the tenor voice still rang clear; "Himeko...? Is there a reason to why you are beside me?" The Himemiya regained her tired composure easily, the fatigued lines of her youthful face disappeared as soon as she caught sight of the blonde angel leaning over her. Himeko felt the corner of her mouth curl into a sheepish grin, covering the fact that she was so close to connecting their-the blonde vehemently shook her head.

"None at all. I... just... can I sleep with you?" Even if only for an hour, in your arms, by your side... She thought wistfully, seeing the Himemiya nod and move the blankets. Himeko caught a flash of pale skin, hints of toned abdomen. She shook her head, now wasn't the time to think so dirty...

to be continued from a warped mind...

Precipitation Reactions

Precipitation reactions occur when different aqueous solutions (usually of salts) are mixed, and a solid substance results. Remember solutions are homogeneous mixtures in which each part of the solution has the same composition. A solution can be colored (such as a blue copper sulfate solution) but it is always clear. Clear means that the solution is transparent, not cloudy, turbid, translucent, or opaque.

Most of the precipitation reactions that we will deal with involve aqueous salt solutions. Remember salts are compounds which consist of metal cations like Na+, Ca2+, Cu2+ (or the one nonmetal molecular ion that we have discussed, ammonium - NH4+) ionically bonded to nonmetal anions such as Cl-, (or molecular anions such as hydroxide - OH-, sulfate - SO42-, phosphate - PO43-, nitrate - NO3-, and carbonate - CO32-), dissolved in water. Salts can be divided into two types: those soluble in water, and those insoluble in water. You should know some simple solubility rules which will allow you to know which salts are soluble in water.

nitrate NO3- salts are soluble
salts containing Group 1 metals (Li, Na, K, 1+ charge) and NH4+ are soluble
most Cl-, Br-, and I -salts are soluble, with the notable exceptions of salts that contain silver, Ag+ and lead, Pb2+
most sulfate SO42- are soluble with the exceptions of salts containing barium, Ba2+, Pb2+ and Ca2+
most hydroxides OH- are just slightly soluble, with the exceptions of the very soluble NaOH and KOH
most phosphates PO43- and carbonates - CO32- are only slightly soluble.

Precipitation reactions occur when different salt solutions are mixed, which result in the formation of an insoluble salt, or precipitate. When precipitation occurs, the cation of one of the soluble salts interacts with the anion of the other soluble salt to form an insoluble salt. The other ions which remain soluble are called spectator ions.. Consider the following example when aqueous solutions of NaCl and AgNO3 are added to each other. A white cloudy precipitate forms. What is the likely product that formed a precipitate? Consider all the ions in solution. If the positive ions approached each other, they would repel, so we can't form compounds like NaAg. The same is true of the negative ions. Ions of opposite charge can attract each other so we could reform NaCl and AgNO3. However, these are soluble salts and would immediately dissociate again into individual ions. The other possibilities are AgCl and NaNO3. The later would likewise dissociate since we know that Na and NO3 are soluble. The only alternative is AgCl. We can write a series of chemical equations to explain these interactions:

molecular equation: write down the species as molecules as below-

NaCl (aq) + AgNO3 (aq) --> AgCl (s) + NaNO3 (aq) where the (aq) for aqueous implies that the salt is in solution as is soluble.

ionic equation: write down the species as they actually occur in the solution:

Na+(aq) + Cl-(aq) + Ag+(aq) + NO3-(aq) --> AgCl(s) + Na+(aq) + NO3-(aq)

net ionic equation: remove identical ions that appear on both sides fo the ionic equation that act as "spectators" in the reaction. They are called spectator ions.

Ag+(aq) + Cl-(aq) --> AgCl(s).

New 2/13/08: A note on nomenclature.
In the graph, you will see reaction mechanisms used curved arrows for bond making and breaking. The arrows always start with a nonbonded pair of electrons on the base which is attracted to a dH+ on the acid or proton donor. Hence the attack starts with the base. That seems to be the opposite to the notion that an acid "actively" donates a proton. From the perspective of the H+ on the acid, the H+ moves (is donated) to the base. From the perspective of the lone pair on the O of the base, the base takes (accepts) the H+.

To simplify this description, let's come up with a different description of an acid and base that indicate action initiated by the base (see mechanism above using curved arrows).

ACID: molecule from which a proton (H+) is pulled by accepting an electron pair to a Hd+

BASE: molecule which attacks and bonds to a proton (H+) by donating an elecron pair to a Hd+.

When these substances are dissolved in water, no light is observed when electrodes are placed in the water. This implies that are no ions in solution. From these examples, we can tentatively conclude that covalently bonded species don't dissolve in water to form ions. This makes sense in that pure H2O itself, a molecule held together by polar covalent bonds, did not conduct electricity in our experiment.

But if we did the same experiment with HCl(aq) added to water, a bright light is observed.
